I had an AVG pop-up this morning on the PrimeGrid boards blocking a “known threat”…
The page you are trying to access has been identified as a known exploit, phishing, or social engineering web site and therefore
has been blocked for your safety. Without protection, such as that in the AVG Security Toolbar and AVG, your computer is at risk
of being compromised, corrupted or having your identity stolen. Please follow one of the suggestions below to continue.

Thanks for the info. Do the warnings only come up for mirror 29? I suspect that AVG is being too over-sensitive I assume it is seeing the mirror re-direct as a security alert when it isn't at all. I would therefore expect all mirrors to generate the warning. Norton used to do this a while back. However, if it is only number 29, then I will investigate further - please let me know.
Al, I removed the downloads that Norton thought were harmful a long time ago (even though they were harmless) - this is a different issue.
Hmmm... I just had the same warning from AVG, and again for mirror 29. However, I can't get the warning to happen again even when mirror 29 is generating an image - very odd.

Neil.
I have had a few more warnings today. The warning is always associated with Mirror 29, but not every time that particular server renders a stats box.
I have had no warnings associated with any of the other Mirrors.
